Vision Therapy for Winter Garden, FL Families

Winter Garden families often come to us after trying everything else: tutoring, reading interventions, extra practice at home. Their child is bright and works hard, but reading still doesn't click.

Sometimes the missing piece is vision. Hope Vision Development Center is about 15 minutes west on SR-50, in Clermont, and we specialize in the vision problems that standard eye exams miss.

When interventions aren't working

If your child has had reading support and progress has stalled, it's worth asking whether their eyes are making reading harder than it should be. Problems with eye teaming, tracking, and focusing can cause:

  • Skipped words and lost place

  • Slow, effortful reading

  • Headaches and fatigue during homework

  • Poor reading comprehension despite strong listening comprehension

Vision therapy doesn't replace reading instruction. It treats a separate vision problem, so reading support should continue alongside it.

We work alongside your child's team

We're glad to coordinate with teachers, tutors, and other therapists so everyone is working toward the same goals.
