Student Success Advocate - Full-Time Position

 

About Us

Hope Vision Development Center is a family-owned and operated optometry practice located in Clermont, Florida. We specialize in Vision Therapy, providing comprehensive diagnosis and treatment for visual conditions, including lazy eye, visual rehabilitation, and vision-related learning disorders. Our in-house vision therapy clinic offers hands-on treatment to patients of all ages in a supportive, caring environment. Complete training program is provided to the right candidate.

 

Position Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Student Success Advocate to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children and adults by helping them achieve better vision and improved quality of life through specialized therapeutic interventions.

 

Key Responsibilities

  •  Conduct one-on-one vision therapy sessions with patients of all ages

  • Implement individualized treatment plans under doctor supervision

  • Work collaboratively with doctors, front office staff, therapists, patients, and parents

  • Maintain detailed patient records and progress documentation

  • Adapt therapeutic approaches to meet the unique needs of children and individuals with special needs

  • Provide exceptional patient care and support throughout the treatment process

 

Required Qualifications

  •  High school diploma or equivalent (minimum requirement)

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team

  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities

  • Energetic, positive, and outgoing personality

  • Highly reliable and self-motivated

  • Ability to take direction and demonstrate flexibility

  • Compassionate approach to working with children and special needs individuals

 

Preferred Qualifications

  •  Experience working with children

  • Background in education, healthcare, therapy, or related field

  • Ability to work with children with special needs

 

Work Schedule

 Full-Time Position: 38 hours per week

  • Monday - Thursday: 8:15 AM - 5:15 PM

  • Friday: 8:15 AM - 12:15 PM

Schedule designed to accommodate after-school appointments for pediatric patients
